UCG Reno Split Follow Up

I thought it useful to post these two pieces of correspondence for comparison.

Hi, James,

I’m usually on the ball, but missed my opportunity.

When I read your post on Reno, around 7:00 pm  last night, I went to the Reno website to see who was the current pastor.  It was Aaron Creech.  There were several sermons by him.  I read your updated post this morning, and saw how serious it really is.  Went back to the Reno sight to download all of Aaron’s sermons from November to present, intending to listen to every one.  Too late.  They are already gone.  It would be interesting to listen to some of those sermons, if someone has downloaded them.

And Then:

Author: Gerald Coleman, Sacramento

This is an amusing ‘fake news’ article similar to the propaganda that we are continually subjected to by the ‘left wing media’.  Just more sophistry…

As the person who uploads all the messages to Sacramento, an as far as I know the only one who has uploaded any messages to Reno.  None of Mr. Creech’s messages have been uploaded to either Reno or Sacramento – so, how could they have been removed.  I have not removed any messages.  Maybe I should remove the messages that were given by one of the members who left – but that’s not my call.If the first sentence in your article is a complete lie – what’s the rest of it full of?
Get you facts straight before you start defaming people.

My Reply

Thank you for your input.

You are quite mistaken. You  may be in charge in Sacramento however  I checked the Reno site and there were several sermons by Arron in the evening and the next morning they were gone.  Other persons have told me the same thing.

In fact Aaron was the Reno elder for four months and did have sermons at the Reno site.  I may have erred in including Sacramento but I stand by my statement in reference to Reno.

Gerald’s response

Hi James,

Thanks for your reply.  As I stated in my comment – the first sentence in your article was a lie.  You just admitted it.

Aa far as you stating that you personally checked the Reno site and there were several sermons by Arron in the evening and the next morning they were gone – again you lie.  That didn’t happen.  You’re just full of shit.

I figured that you wouldn’t have the nerve to post my comment…

Regards,

Gerald

My reply

Sir

In your first comment you said “As the person who uploads all the messages to Sacramento, an as far as I know the only one who has uploaded any messages to Reno.”

The “as far as I know”  caveat leaves open the fact that others could easily add or remove sermons, even without your knowledge.  That fact shows that your rush to judgment is a fool’s errand.

I know the truth and so does God.   I am extremely glad that I am not in your shoes.

I will not waste any further time on people like you.

James

Conclusion

The contrast is obvious; normal courtesy and attitude in the first comment while the second comment was clearly ungodly being an obvious attempt to bully.

To me, this kind of attempted adolescent school yard bullying by someone who claims to be a converted adult, indicates that the person is being defensive and is trying to hide something. I would not believe anything he says.

This attitude does not intimidate me in the least, it is offensive, disgusting and deserving of contempt and engenders outrage.  It is certainly not conducive to resolving any issue and is the exact opposite of what the scriptures teach about how to approach others to resolve issues.  It has been my experience that the people who talk “love, love” the most, are those who practice it the least.

As for Reno sermons by Aaron Creech being removed, I stand by my statement. Whether they were removed by Coleman, Coleman’s boss, officials in Cinci or someone else is immaterial.
