The Fall Festivals
I am planning to publish the Fall Festivals material just before the Feast of Tabernacles at the new TheShiningLight School of Biblical Studies site, the point being to give a solid explanation of the Fall Festivals before many brethren go to attend their own corporate sites.
Our focus for the Feast of Tabernacles this year will be the Beatitudes, and in depth Beatitudes studies will be posted every day for the Feast of Tabernacles this year.
The theme of the 2018 Feast of Tabernacles will be the book of Deuteronomy which is commanded by God via Moses to be studied every seventh year. This is especially important at this time because of the drift away from zeal to live by every Word of God, by so many in the Ekklesia in this latter day.
Deuteronomy 31:9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and unto all the elders of Israel.
31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
31:11 When all Israel is come to appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
At the 2018 Feast of Tabernacles we will obey God, Moses and Malachi, and especially focus on the Law of God.
Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
I first met Constance at the Feast of Tabernacles in 2013 and she indicated that she would like to send out a weekly very short Sabbath Greetings message of encouragement. I suggested that she go ahead.
Once she began to write the dam burst and the words began pouring out; instead of a short message of one or two hundred words she was writing messages of 5 to 15,000 words.
This grew into our Newsletter and except for breaks at the Feasts and occasional health issues she did our Newsletter for about three years.
Now I am sure that long time visitors to the websites can say that over the past few years the sites have grown in quality of presentation, format and content, it has been much the same for Constance who has advanced considerably in her writing skills.
You may have noticed that the RSS feed to the site containing past Newsletters archive has been removed from the other sites. That was because for the past month we have been engaged in a new project, with Constance and my son David upgrading the format of all of Constance’ articles to the same format as the websites, while I have reviewed and edited her article content.
At this point about 100 articles have been brought up to a high standard and more are coming.
The Newsletter had only about 100 subscribers but the website has thousands of visitors each week who will now benefit from the completely updated articles.
The Newsletter was suspended, however the plan is to now post these completely updated articles – one for each Sabbath – at this COG News site. The purpose being to post an edifying article for the brethren on God’s Sabbath day.
Once the present series of important prophecies is completed in another two weeks, we will begin posting the weekly Sabbath articles right here at this site each Friday. Those articles will be suspended during the Feast because the series on the Beatitudes at the Bible School site will be quite lengthy.
This has been an enormous amount of work but will add a new dimension to this COG News site. Even those who have been receiving the Newsletter will appreciate the new versions of the old articles.
As world events progress towards the onset of the hour of trial and the coming of our LORD, we are working just as hard as we can to follow the instructions of Jude and earnestly contend for the sound doctrine and truth of every Word of God.
